What is the Sylfirm X?
Compared to other RF microneedling systems, Sylfirm X combines the proven technology of microneedling with radiofrequency energy with pulsed wave technology. Together, these two technologies precisely target and treat affected tissues that cause discoloration, rosacea, melasma, and a range of other concerns. Multiple microelectrodes in the Sylfirm X device work together to create an electromagnetic field. This field gently penetrates the deeper skin layers without breaking or damaging the outer tissues.

What can I expect during treatments?
You will come in and we will take before photos and numb the area for treatment. Numbing will be about 30 minutes and depending on treatment area the service itself is about 30 minutes.

How do I prepare before this treatment?

Do not wear makeup on the day of treatment.

Excess hair may need to be shaved. Men should be cleanly shaved.

No sun-tanning or self-tanners 4 weeks prior to treatment.

Includes spray tans, tanning lotions, tanning beds, sun exposure, etc.

Avoid skin irritants (examples below) a few days before and after treatment.

Products containing tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, vitamin C/ascorbic acid, astringents, etc.

History of herpes or cold sores may require an anti-viral prescription prior to treatment.

When will I see results and how long will they last? Post Care Instructions
With many treatments offered at Silk & Co, it is important to remember that more than one treatment is needed to ideal results. We recommend at least 3 treatments that are 6 weeks apart to ensure long lasting beautiful complexion.
Right after treatment you will have redness and tingling which should subside in a day or two. We will give you gentle skin care kit to use for a few days to replace your skin regimen to ensure the best results.
